When you're mixing a song with several rhythmic and melodic elements it can be difficult to keep the vocal sounding thick.

Layers, of guitars, keys, drums, bass and synth elements really take up a lot of room in the mix and they can easily over shadow the vocal.

Fortunately, I have a tried and true technique for thickening the vocals, and I have asked my friend Chris Selim of Mixdownline to recreate it for us using cubase.
